Nietzsche, a philosopher who I admire greatly said, "Write with blood and you will find that spirit it blood...Whoever writes in blood and aphorisms does not want to be read but to be learned by heart." If I have learned something truly by heart, which isn't merely about memorization, I have understood it intimately. I believe that this is the reason Jesus used parables, often those associated with agriculture to be grasped easily in his time, even though those without ears to hear missed much. However, there are many times i have received gifts and hated them/ returned them. Many people have encountered the same situation. This happens because someone gets you a present they think that you would like because they like it as well. The golden leaves room for too much interpretations. This is what the platinum rule fixes.
