I often read a blog called the TomPeters! Blog. Many of its articles are based on business and leadership. I found one interesting article about branding that applied to the current economic times. The post compared two airlines, Ryan Air and British Airways. It looked at their different branding techniques and how their strategies have affected their performance in the current economic situation.

“How to Start Your Business with a Great Brand”
The small business blog gives interesting advice about business in general, but is geared towards small businesses. A current post brings up the question, how should you brand your business in current economic times? The way you establish your company is the way it will be remembered so it is important to start off your company to achieve the brand that you want for the future. Do you want to build a company that is geared towards value or towards a unique difference? This is a difficult question to answer when companies are trying to gear themselves towards future goals while the economy is currently hurting.

“Can You Build Trust?”
I read AM Beat daily because it is one of the best business/ entrepreneurship blogs I have seen so far. Aditya Mahesh wrote a post on how to build brand in a blog. He speaks about how you need to create trust and credibility for people to believe in your blog. His messages can be applied to creating a brand for your business or for branding yourself. Aditya also discusses where money should be spent when marketing your company’s brand. In these economic times company’s need to make sure every dollar is spent wisely, which makes his information helpful.
